My grand-daughter, JLP, and I had a little Gramma Day sewing circle today. She wanted a tote bag for her scriptures.........so with a very little help from me she made one. Everything went smoothly and was as easy as the pattern said it would be....until she got to adding the two hoops for the handles. She had to switch into "intermediate seamstress" sewing mode. She stitched it patiently one stitch at a time and was victorious in the end. The result was a beautiful little scripture tote. She was proud.........and so was I. ;-) Kudos for JP.
